This is probably one of the silliest things I’ve heard. Having a 6 figure corporate job can be rewarding if you love what you do, you can also mentor younger employees and change things from the inside. Yes there is a down side but you have to play the game.

That’s dumb, why would you choose a guaranteed extra 300k over a business that most likely isn’t going to match that amount after 2-3 years. Make the half mil for a few years and then stop working and devote a full year or two at least to developing that side business. The money works out better that way, otherwise you’re saying that you’re making the 200k-300k to supplement that job in which case you shouldn’t be working at another company anyways

we live in a society where hard work earns you more money. yes more money comes with more responsibilities. explain to me how it should work any different. it's makes for competition which drives people work harder and in turn be more successful. stop blabbering your unrealistic views on how you think society should be based on "your experience". you clearly know nothing about what hard work means

As I was growing my consulting business I had to fire my business bank twice because they couldn't keep pace with our growth. I walked into our third bank with so much confidence it must've been apparent. I told the loan officer that I was looking for a banking "partner" to replace our old bank who couldn't keep up. I told them that it would be a good opportunity for "them". I wasn't begging for a line of credit. I was giving them an opportunity to be our banking partner.

Ohh!! In Biotech and Pharmaceuticals, unlimited PTO is sooooo common, but here is the catch, If you leave the company, you don't get any PTO accrual pay. Again, while it is unlimited, it is discretionary, and I believe you can get 4 week at a time. You may need to look into the clinical research industry because it is a goldmine/hidden secret.

I enjoy a balance. I love to get paid my high salary and I am one of those people who definitely takes all his PTO for the year. I'm not a fan of people coming into my house so I wouldn't do Kindred. I worked at an unlimited PTO Company. It's all based on approval from your boss. That is the caveat. But I was able to take off 40 days and all my work was done.
